Did you know that 19% of the cost of workers compensation claims were prescription drugs.. A group of employers are preparing recommendations to address ways to curb or eliminate prescription drugs in our workers compensation system. The recommendations will be provided to the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations[ Christine Baker]. Small Business California is part of these discussions.

As of this morning we have 666 responses. If you haven’t done so already please complete this important survey. One of the questions we asked was Do you see yourself in business in three years. So far 23% of you said no. I find this number scary. I am sure some of you will be retiring but I think that is a pretty high number. What do you think?
